I can’t believe there was a movie made with the title: Wee Willie Winkie! Seriously, as a lesbian the last thing I ever thought of dealing with was the “member” of the opposite of sex. But I think the higher power (whoever that might be) thought they would give us a challenge, blessing us with two sons! As parents we pride ourselves on always telling the truth and speaking the truth, however when it comes to body parts – it’s a funny topic in our house. I love the fact my boys can run around and be proud of their wee willie winkies! Although catching Chase ( our 4year old) doing the willy dance in front of the windows J then when we have football on, watching a “cars” movie, I am constantly hearing Mary saying “Deacon, go in your room if you are wanting private time” or “Chase, stop pulling on your willy” and of course Chase responding “But, Mama, my willy is going the wrong way” I can’t help to think how can I capture these moments;  so one day when our boys are grown, we can have a laugh about such innocence and not conversations on the actual act of sex, of course my boys know even at this early stage in life the Kelison boy’s motto “no glove, no love”.
